Lawrence King is the owner of King Law. Lawrence practices extensively in the area of litigation, with an emphasis in insurance defense, for over 30 years. He has represented major insurance companies and their insureds in a variety of actions, including bodily injury, underinsured and uninsured motorist claims, bad faith actions, coverage issues, fire investigation and general litigation.

Lawrence also has more than 30 years of experience handling Workers Compensation matters. Presently, he represents local, regional, and national employers on North Dakota Worker's Compensation matters. 

​

Lawrence has three children, two grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, boating, traveling, and going to Minnesota Vikings games.

Erik King is an associate attorney at King Law. Erik attended the University of North Dakota School of Law and obtained his law degree in May of 2022. Before law school, Erik received his bachelors degree in criminal justice from Minot State University. Erik worked closely with the Innocence Project during law school, specifically working to exonerate innocent individuals who were wrongly convicted and incarcerated. 

 

Erik enlisted in the North Dakota National Guard as military police for 6 years and was honorably discharged in 2021. During his military career, Erik worked with the counterdrug program, assisting the State of North Dakota as an intelligence analyst. Erik was activated to assist with the Dakota Access Pipeline protests. In 2021, Erik was also activated for a security mission in support of the January 6th seige on the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., to assist with the Presidential Inauguration.

Erik is married and has two children. Outside of work, Erik enjoys spending time with his family, going to Minnesota Vikings games, and traveling.

Sharon graduated from the University of North Dakota with her Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Studies and from the University of Mary with a Master's degree in Business Administration. She earned her paralegal certification through the National Association of Legal Assistants and holds advanced certifications in contracts management, discovery, e-discovery, trial practice, and trademark law. 

 

Sharon's extensive and impressive legal experience includes over 25 years in law firm and corporate legal department settings.  

Samantha graduated from the University of Mary with her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Samantha is our Legal Administrative Assistant, our Billing Coordinator, and our receptionist. Her knowledge, kindness, and warm smile make her a great asset to this team.

 

Samantha just recently got married in October of 2022 to her husband, Jacob. Together they have an energetic and sweet dog named Sully.

 

Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, hanging out with her friends and family, traveling, and playing board games.
